I always say the same things and make the same promises. I'll write, I'll write, don't forget to write! But that makes this seem more like a chore. And that's not the way I want to look at things. So here I am, in the most serene room I could find, the bathroom. And don't worry, I'm not pulling any numbers, trust me. I'm just here; headphones in, sitting on the topped porcelain throne. We can call it that, right? Regardless I was just (re)inspired to pick up this old habit I formed many moons ago by a new series. Yes, guilty as charged, I've been handling this break with the utmost laziest approach. Literally sitting for ages in front of the television, and that's how I came to find my new muse, The Carrie Diaries. It's the prequel to the dearest Sex in the City we all have come to love. There's just something about Carrie, she empowers us females and makes us feel confident and sexy; alive. At least just the thought of living her ultimately luxurious life does. And so this new series tells the story of Carrie before the Sex and before The City. And it sort of brought me back to that place. A place of wonder and hope and ambition. So I'm going to add one more resolution to this year's list. I will dedicate at least an hour to the creative process everyday. Whether it be art, writing, craft making or even enjoying some fine music, I am to fit at least 60 minutes of that everyday. And instead of it being a chore it'll be an escape.
So I will make a schedule for posting and hopefully lure more onlookers with my wit and interesting opinions. Because everyone wants a voice and they want it to be heard, no matter how much they may deny it. Till we meet gain cyberspace, it's been swell.
Happy New Year by the way.
Kaleidoscope.
Everything in my view.

A Ramble.
I'm glad to say that I am doing all right, Sandy did not make my world end. . .for now. There are sadly many deaths in the area and the numbers seem to keep on climbing. It will be a long road till things are "back to normal" but I know that we will pull through, we have to.
On another note I am almost going back to school, finally. I've felt sort of useless for the past few months because I have nothing other to do than stay home or go to work (which is a part time too). Also I want to get excited about new school supplies and taking notes. I want to smell the too familiar paper scent that old books and new bring. And honestly, I'm just bored of staying home. I think I feel my IQ point diminishing as we speak.
Again, every time I log back on I always have something important to say and then either I forget or I don't have the right words. But just an update to show I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, yet anyway. Love you all and for all of my East Coasters, stay safe and hope you are well. xo Abigail.
